The construction of Gumilumchu Pipeline Irrigation project in Metakha Gewog is completed and handed over to the community today in presence of Dzongkhag Tender Committee members. The water source lies at some 2.3 Kms away and above Gumina village.
This will irrigate over 80 acres of agricultural land belonging to 60 households of Gumina Chiwog in Metekha Gewog.
The project was undertaken with support of SDP III project costing Nu. 7.0 million.
